Prof. Beeckman elected as President Elect of ISTAP

At the conference of European Wound Management Association 2018 in Krakow (Poland), Prof. Dimitri Beeckman was elected as the President Elect of the International Skin Tear Advisory Panel (ISTAP).
The International Skin tear Advisory Panel (http://www.skintears.org) aims to raise international awareness of the prediction, assessment, prevention, and management of skin tears. The panel includes a broad range of healthcare professionals representing: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia/New Zealand, and Africa. Prof. Beeckman will join Dr. Karen Campbell (President) and Dr. Kim LeBlanc (Immediate Past President) in the leadership team to guide further growth of the inter-professional organsization dedicated to improving outcomes for individuals at risk and/or experiencing skin tears across the continuum of care through education, research & advocacy.
