Prevention of skin damage in patients in prone position: development of the education and training package "ProneTection" and investigation of the implementation conditions in an intensive care unit.

The objectives of this study:

Conduct a needs assessment by using semi-structured in-depth interviews with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians (Belgium and Sweden) and investigate the conditions for effective implementation in a critical care facility.

Develop the education and training package based on the results of the needs assessment with a critical review and evaluation by eleven key opinion leaders from the international expert panel.
